Since the new season is starting soon the fixtures will be starting on December 23, 2022, and will continue with the fixtures till February 11, 2023. Also, the host for the event will be New Zealand.
Therefore, the tournament format is going to be a Double Round-robin and elimination final and finals. Hence the fixtures are starting this season the current championship is with Northern Brave. Also, the tournament also hosts the matches for Super Smash 2022-23 for the Women.
Since the team champions, it is their 3rd ever winning the title of Super Smash. Moreover, the team with the most winning titles are the Auckland Aces and Wellington Firebirds with their 4 titles in total.
Nevertheless, New Zealand cricket is set to take off where the event also hosts the matches for the Women’s Super Smash event. Also, the official rights for the tournament are with various broadcasters like Spark Sport, TVNZ 1, TVNZ Duke, and ESPN+.
Also, the matches will be taking off under the administration of New Zealand Cricket whereas the first-ever edition rolled out in 2005-06
Super Smash 2022-23 Schedule: Date, Time IST, Venue, Day
Super Smash 2022-23 will be starting off with the matches for the cricket event this Dec 23 whereas the first-ever fixture takes off for the team between Northern Knights and Canterbury. Secondly, another fixture takes off for Wellington vs Otago whereas the grounds hosting is Basin Reserve.
Thirdly, the fixture is for Canterbury vs Auckland at 10:00 AM (IST) whereas the grounds are open for Hagley Oval, Christchurch.
The fourth match is for the Central Districts vs Wellington at Fitzherbert Park, Palmerston North. After that, all the matches for the tournament will be rolling at 11:10, 07:10, 06:10 or 08:10 AM (IST). Since the fixtures will be taking off till February 2023.
