From May 14 to May 21, 2023, Suzhou, People’s Republic of China, will host the BWF Sudirman Cup Finals 2023, the mixed team badminton world championships. Suzhou was originally scheduled to host the last Sudirman Cup in 2021, but it has been two years since then. Check Below BWF Sudirman Cup 2023 Prize Money Distribution and Results.
The Sudirman Cup, which has previously been won by Indonesia and the Republic of Korea, is in its 18th year. The four-group, 16-team format will be utilized for the second time. From each group, two teams will advance to the quarterfinals. Each tie is played with a limit of five matches, with every one of the five matches played during the gathering stages for tiebreaking.
Each tie in the knockout rounds is played as a best-of-five match, with the winner of the tie being the team with the most match wins.
BWF Sudirman Cup 2023 Prize Money :
India also reached the semifinals for the first time at the Asia Mixed Team Championships in 2023, but they lost to heavyweight China. India’s best finish at the Sudirman Cup came in 2011 and 2017 when they finished as quarterfinalists. The Sudirman Cup has no monetary rewards.
