The 2024 Malaysia Open badminton tournament has a total prize pool of $1,300,000. The 2024 Malaysia Open will take place from January 9–14 at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is one of four BWF Super 1000 tournaments this season. It is significant to note that, in contrast to the majority of BWF World Tour events, players who are expelled in the first round of the Malaysia Open 2024 in any category and disciplines will get 3,150 BWF points in addition to USD 1,300 each.

How much will get Winner, Finalist, Semi-finals, and Quarter-finals?

The prize money for the winners of the men’s and women’s singles categories is $91,000, along with 12,700 BWF points. The runners-up in both categories will receive $44,200 and 10,800 BWF points. The semi-finalists in both categories will each receive $18,200. The quarter-finalists will receive $7,150 for singles and $8,125 for doubles.
