AFCON Cup Matches for Today: Wednesday, 24 January 2024
South Africa will play Tunisia in the last group stage match of the Africa Cup of Nations 2023 (AFCON) on Wednesday. The 1996 winners, South Africa, started the campaign with a 2-0 setback to Mali but recovered to defeat Namibia 4-0 on Sunday. Tunisia, who finished second in the competition’s 1996 edition, have had an unsuccessful beginning to their campaign.
They tied Mali 1-1 on Sunday after falling to Namibia 1-0 in their season opener. Lassine Sinayoko’s opening-minute goal was canceled out ten minutes later by Hamza Rafia, although both teams scored in the first half. The Group E standings became highly fascinating due to the draw, with Tunisia in the lowest position and Mali in first place separated by just three points.

This match will take place in the Stade Laurent Pokou and both teams belong to the group E. The match will take place at 5 pm and both the teams will compete with each other to win a spot in the finals.
South Africa vs Tunisia- 5 pm
As Group E of the Africa Cup of Nations prepares for an exciting finale, South Africa takes on Tunisia. Both of them, along with Namibia and Mali, have a legitimate chance of making it to the AFCON’s final 16. Nevertheless, Tunisia still has the most work ahead of them. Tanzania vs DR Congo- 8 pm
The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations group round will conclude on Wednesday with Tanzania taking on DR Congo at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium. Tanzania has only received one point thus far, placing them at the bottom of their group. Their Nations Cup campaign would come to an end if they lose on Wednesday.
Zambia vs Morocco- 8 pm
Zambia’s last group-stage encounter of the Africa Cup of Nations 2023 (AFCON) will take place against Morocco on Wednesday at the Stade de San Pédro. Both sides have had a successful start to their campaigns; Morocco has won two games and drawn the other in their first two, while Zambia has played back-to-back draws.
