The Women’s Premier League is being organized for the first time in the history of India. And that’s why I don’t know who’s excited but I’m really excited to watch every match. But I will not be satisfied with just watching the match, I will give you all the updates regularly. Only then I can enthusiastically share everything with all my friends. Check WPL Auction 2023 Date, Venue, and Participating Players list all you need to know.
Indeed, this step taken by BCCI in India will inspire many women to do something. Many women are left behind especially when it comes to sports in our society. Indian society is already a patriarchal society, so girls don’t get the respect given to men, even if they work harder. To see that in comparison and when women’s cricket alongside men’s cricket is being given so much respect as a woman makes me really proud.
WPL Auction 2023 Date, Venue, all you need to know
Anyway, I won’t just talk with all that passion and give you a detailed description of everything that I’ll get into today. Essentially, the BCCI is going to hold an auction for the WPL just like the men’s Indian Premier League. And this auction starts on 13th February. However, the Women’s Premier League is making its debut in India for the first time and we can all give a round of applause for this.
On the other hand, I say that registrations are coming in so much that you will be blown away by the number. Believe it or not, women’s enthusiasm for playing WPL is almost sky-high. Because the preparations for the auction are just starting and so far 1000 players have registered their interest in the women’s IPL.
Honestly looking at the numbers I think the Women’s Premier League will be a huge game-changer for India. Not only this but there is significant interest from players to be a part of history despite the limited slots available. Most of the women’s teams are hoping that this will be the first to witness history.
However, everyone now has a bird’s eye on WPL’s 2023 auction. At the same time, we tell you that this auction will be held in Mumbai or Delhi. Basically, everyone is now watching the auction to see which players will go to which team. Although January 7th was the deadline for players to register.
Participating Players list:
When it comes to players I say a minimum of 15 players can play in a franchise side in the Women’s Premier League. Similarly, the maximum number of players here is 18. On the other hand, the Indian Cricket Board has said that a team can have five foreign players in the Women’s Premier League.
That is, if I go to see the whole, then almost all the rules are the same as in IPL. At the same time, it has not been decided which player will be on which team. And to know that we have to wait for the auction. However, below I will give a list of more players who have a lot of potentials to be in any WPL team.
