In earlier days the world of cricket was dominated by men. Just as men were given more importance in society and women less, similarly women were not given any importance in sports. However recently the women’s IPL auction ended on 13th February. However, five franchises were already fixed by the BCCI. And through this auction, the players are distributed among the five franchises. Not only that, but around 87 players were on the bidding list. Moreover, the players are famous players for whom the team owners have spent around Rs 59,500,000 to bid.
