BCCI Central Contracts 2023: New contracts for Indian board cricketers have appeared. And necessarily some new things are employed here. However, BCCI showed a delay of several months due to the elections. Anyway, finally, they are announcing the new central contract. Yes, I can say one thing some cricketers are benefiting from the new contract and some are facing loss.
Anyway, we have no reason to worry about it. But their agreement is final. But what seems to be T20 captain and vice-captain Hardik Pandya and Surya Kumar Yadav are their biggest gains so far. Essentially this reason is promotion and promotion means more money. However, I am trying to explain the deal as much as possible here.
BCCI Central Contracts 2023: What to expect in a new Central contract?
A senior BCCI official gave an interview to a few media channels. There he said that the selection committee is having a little delay but the final discussion has been completed. They are confirming that it is coming out within the next month as usual. And here’s the thing: Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant Sharma, and Riddhiman Saha all have a good chance. On the other hand, this time we see an unexpected performance by Mayank Agarwal. As a result, naturally, there is a chance of promotion in his field as well. Although this is the BCCI’s decision we are blindly and superficially it seems. Unfortunately, Shikhar Dhawan’s luck may not be with him this time though.
It could also be that BCCI’s umbrella of grace is slipping from his head. As a result, he is left out of the contract. Frankly, this is a piece of unexpected news for every Indian. However, it is all the decision of the Indian Cricket Board, we cannot say anything there. On the other hand, Hardik Pandya’s grade was previously a B.
But he recently got the captaincy for which his grade was promoted to A. Shubman Gill, meanwhile, is a different kind of player and is also promoted to an A grade altogether. Let us inform you here that BCCI held a meeting on all these agreements in the month of December. The entire decision is made without the benefit of the senior players. However, those who were in earlier grade A+ remain unchanged.
