Since the inception of T20 cricket, one aspect of the game has witnessed a remarkable surge: the number of sixes being struck. It is humbly observed that in a T20 match nowadays, there are approximately 10 sixes hit collectively across both innings. In PSL the player that tops the list of most sixes hit is Fakhar Zaman.

Fakhar Zaman holds a score of 100 sixes being hit in the journey of PSL so far since 2016. Lahore Qalandars selected him for the first edition, of the 2017 Pakistan Super League, where he received close mentorship from New Zealand player Brendon McCullum. He is closely followed in the list of most sixes by Kamran Akmal from Peshawar Zalmi with a record of 89 sixes.

Zaman gained widespread recognition following his remarkable century in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy final, where he was awarded the Man of the Match for his outstanding innings of 114 runs off 106 balls against India. Additionally, he set a new record as the fastest player from Pakistan to reach 1,000 runs in ODIs, in 2018.
