Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the captain of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), has offered his thoughts on the tournament’s diversity as the team prepares to play the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the highly anticipated opening game of the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) season on March 22 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

When Dhoni looked back on the 2008 CSK team, he remembered playing with cricket greats like Mike Hussey and Matthew Hayden from Australia, spin virtuoso Muttiah Muralitharan from Sri Lanka, and others. He also talked about how difficult it was to bring such a diverse group of people together and how important it was.
