The Big Bash League (BBL) premier T20 competition, was established in 2011. Each summer in Australia it takes place from December until January or February. Since then, they have repeated as champions twice more – in 2019-20 and 2020-21. Perth Scorchers rose to become the most successful team in BBL history with five titles. After losing in the final of two editions.

They went on to claim back-to-back championships during the third and fourth editions. Before adding three more championships in 2016-17, 2021-22. 2022-23 (beating Brisbane Heat in the 2022-23 final to claim the fifth BBL crown).
Six of the eight teams to compete across 11 editions have come away victorious at least once. Notably, both Sixers and Scorchers won at least once while Brisbane Heat (2012-13), Adelaide Strikers (2017-18), and Melbourne Renegades (2018-19) all achieved success at least once each.
Furthermore, both are the only teams ever to win back-to-back titles. Although both reached finals before falling short in their attempt at glory. Both made three final appearances while Hurricanes reached two before ultimately falling short in both cases.

The Big Bash League (BBL) is an Australian T20 cricket league founded by the Australian Cricket Board in 2011. Eight city-based franchise teams participate annually. Since then, six teams have won six different BBL titles; of these six winners, Perth Scorchers have achieved four major triumphs in this competition.
Below is the complete BBL all-season winners list in table format. The BBL Final 2022 will take place on February 4th. Elimination rounds were played on January 27th; qualifier and knockout rounds on January 28th and 29th. Respectively; with the elimination final scheduled for January 27th, 2023.

On February 4th, 2023, Brisbane Heat and Perth Scorchers squared off in the final of the Big Bash League. Once more Perth Scorchers claimed victory. This time taking both the trophy and final win of BBL 2022-23.
