The 18th Sudirman Cup will be held in 2023. The matches will take place at the Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre. India won the bronze medal at the Badminton Asia Blended Group Titles last month to earn its place in the Sudirman Cup 2023. In the group stage of the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships, India will face Malaysia, a familiar opponent.
That competition was won by India 4-1. China, who won their twelfth title at the 2021 release in Finland, is currently competing in Gathering A alongside Danish bosses from Europe. TotalEnergies BWF Sudirman Cup 2023 is set to be held from 14-21 May in Suzhou, China. The prestigious event will be attended by 16 nations in total.
India secured their place in the quarterfinals of the Asia Mixed Team Championships in February 2023 by defeating Hong Kong. Oceania, Africa, and Pan America each received one place, while Europe and Asia received four quotas for the Sudirman Cup.

At the 2023 Asia Mixed Team Championships, India also made it to the semifinals for the first time, but they lost to heavyweight China. The best completion for India at the Sudirman Cup was during the 2011 and 2017 releases completing as quarterfinalists. The Sudirman Cup does not have any cash prizes.

Sudirman Cup 2023 Draw :
The draw for the tournament took place on March 25, 2023, at Suzhou City in Suzhou, China, at 15:00 CST. There were four groups of four drawn from the 16 teams. The World Team Rankings for the 21st of February 2023 were used to divide the teams into four pots.
China, ranked first (position A1), Japan, ranked second (position D1), and Indonesia and Malaysia, ranked third and fourth, respectively, were in Pot 1. Pot 2 contained the following best four groups and Pot 3 contained the 10th to sixteenth seeds.
