The German Open which is a Badminton tournament is going to start in 2023. Originally this badminton tournament was first held in Germany in 1955. Not only this, this German Open is completely organized by the German Badminton Association. But let us inform you that this association did not hold any tournaments in 1970, 1989, and 1998. Although till 1980 this championship was known as German Badminton. But since 1981 it has been popularly known as the Open Championship. However, this year’s German Open International Badminton Tournament is scheduled to start on 7th March and will continue till 12th March 2023. German Open 2023 Prize Money:
The German Open Badminton Tournament in 2023 has a prize fund of $210,000. Moreover, the prize money is consistent with other BWF super 300 tournaments. Whereas the German Open prize money in 2022 was $180,000.So all in all the prize money has gone up a bit this year.
As a result, single tournament winners this year have 7000 ranking points and $15,750 with them. Additionally, there are $7980 and 5950 ranking points for the runners-up. On the other hand, the winners of mixed doubles tournaments will receive $16,590.
